Where Tanzania's safaris happen

Most first trips stay in the north — Tarangire, the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, linked by road from Arusha. The south (Ruaha, Nyerere) is wilder and reached by small plane. Zanzibar is an hour's flight from either.

The Great Migration, month by month

The herds follow the rain in a loop through the Serengeti. Where you stay should depend on when you travel.

Why travel with us

A small Arusha company that plans every trip by hand.

No call centre and no booking engine. You write to us, we plan your trip together, and the same people look after you on the ground.

Tell us about your trip
  1. Private, always

Your own 4x4 with a pop-up roof and your own guide. You never share the vehicle with strangers, and the days bend around what you want to see.

  2. Planned where the safaris begin

We live and work in Arusha, the starting point of the northern parks. We plan your route, book your lodges and run the trip ourselves.

  3. The price in writing, before you pay

You receive an itemised quotation that shows what is included and what is not. You pay a deposit only after you have agreed to it.

  4. Straight answers on timing

We tell you where the herds usually are in your month, how long the drives really take, and when a short flight is worth the cost.

  5. Photographed by our own team

The wildlife photographs and the video on this website were taken by our team on safari in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire.

  6. A person answers you

Every enquiry is read and answered by someone on our team in Arusha, and every quotation is checked by a person before it is sent.
